WOOO HAAAA!!!!
Dynod today at Walker Dyno Tune in Trussville AL and had the Hondata tuner there as well. Here's a few pics first.
Sadly, we didn't get a base run on the Hondata basemap cause the tuner had already started tweaking the S200B before we ran the base so it's a little skewed.
Anyway, this will be a testiment to all of you that have any questions about the absolute power and freakin' greatness of a Hondata system.
My first run was 232.3 hp / 194.4 tq and you can see how radical the curve was from the graph below. After 4 more runs and about an hour of tuning, we ended up with 260.6 hp / 204.0 tq AT THE WHEELS! That's about 300 chp.
What's more is that you can see how smooth the curve is now and how the torque curve follows the hp curve so nicely. All runs were done at 10 psi on 93 octane pump gas. Again I remind you that the first numbers were not from the basemap and were already tweaked a bit... so you can imagine how much of a gain I actually incurred.
In tuning the Hondata alone I gained over 28 whp and over 10 lbs of tq. :yay:
Here's the best run graph:
Here's the first compared to the last:
I'm so thrilled with this you guys.
A little story for you too:
My goal for this has been to be able to smoke a corvette. On my way home, after dropping off Sleeper, I got back onto the Interstate and you know what was right next to me? A ~'96 LS1 Corvette :naughty:
I pulled up next to him and it was a middle aged guy and a girl in the passenger's seat. I dropped it into 4th and ran up about 300 yrds and slowed back to the speed limit again. When he caught up again, I saw him punch it and he pulled a bit on me. I got it into 4th at 10psi and WALKED HIS ASS!!!! :lmfao:
He gave me the 'cub scout salute' when I flew by to say "nice job you monster civic" :chuckles: I took him for about 3 car lengths and was up to about 125 mph when I slowed down.
The guy went by and his girl waved at me as they did.. WOOOOOT!!! I had such a great day.
Enjoy everyone and thanks for always being here for me to get answers and everything. Long live HAN. :chuckles:
:edit:
There's a video on the way, we just have to convert it to digital and then I'll post it (of the tuning) :naughty:
