No way, urethane > ABS > fiberglass

Urethane bends under force rather than cracking. If you hit a raccoon, your ABS lip will shatter into a bunch of pieces, where as your urethane one will just flex a little. Fiberglass sucks, don't put any fiberglass on your car.

Guess I will have to take that chance when my Fiberglass body kit is installed. The only good thing is my dad knows how to work with fiberglass so if anything happened that was not to major he would be able to fix it. Go ahead and flame if you want but I like body kits.

The only reason I got the body kit is that I got it pretty cheap. I did not buy it all at once. I got the front bumper for $150 painted the color of my car the back bumper for $125 painted the color of my car and the side skirts which are painted black for $100. And like I said my dad knows how to work with fiberglass so if something happend that was not too major he would be able to fix it. The reaon I do not have it installed yet is we are fabricating the front bumper for it for it to fit better b/c it did not allign up to the fenders right. The back bumper has a crack and a small hole in it so that also needs to be fixed. So you can flame me when I get it installed or you can flame me now. It is your choice.

well i dont know what everybody is talkin about urethane being better than ABS. i have owned all 3 types and so far ABS has been the best. i have never heard or seen an ABS lip "shatter" from hitting something cause ABS plastic was made to endure those things. im sorry but if your "ABS" lip shattered it probably wasnt a real ABS lip. the ABS lip that i have has taken a beating and all it has is just 2 paint chips on it from rocks. my fiberglass mugen front kit i had prior was nice but cracked alot. my urethane lip i had before that was ok but it warped in the sun.

this is of course based off my opinion of the 3 based on my experiences using them.
