Hate to tell you bud, but here in PA, you need to use red or amber bulbs for the rear signals. anything else is illegal. on top of that, make sure you have a 2 reflex reflector (red) both facing the rear and 2 to the sides. don't bother putting yourself through all the headaches. i went through all of this here in carlisle about a year ago and had fines totaling over $800. how about that shit? Fortunately, I was able to get a lawyer (for free) and have my fines lowered to $188. I have to add to that, that I didn't have the amber reflex reflectors in my head lights either. They of course were aftermarket projector lamps. Anyways, please heed my advise and don't take the risk. It may end up sucking money from you that could got to much better mods.

Just to avoid hassle, I would put amber bulbs in, get inspected, then for the two years your free and clear to do what ever.

All the ones I'v seen have rear and side red reflex reflectors. Use amber 1156 bulbs and you are legal.

You can't use red bulbs. There are no federally regulated red bulbs. The red bulbs by APC/Matrix/3A/etc are illegal. They are sold for off-road use only.

The only legal way to have a red rear turn signal is a clear bulb in a red housing. The two legal ways for amber/orange signals is by a clear bulb in amber/orange housing or by a natural amber glass bulb.
