i was thinkin about savin for a jackson supercharger, does that seem like to much money to put in a dx motor?(im thinkin supercharger over turbo becuase it seems simpler and easier to maintain for a beginner )

JRSC's suck out of the box. It takes mass tuning to even get power out of them, and then I woudln't even recommend one unless you had a built swap to begin with. A turbo is proven to make power all around, just pick up last month's Street Rod for an example of turbo vs. roots vs. centrifugal. It's proven a turbo makes more power throughout the powerband at the same boost levels.

I don't even want to hear some of you guys talk about "race model" superchargers, because they have the same when it comes to turbos.

You're just ignorant, but that's okay. You want boost, so you obvisouly have no idea how fast a stock D-series motor with boost is. Ride in one then tell me it's a waste to drop some money on a car without having to dish it out for a swap.

My old car was a dx hatch, it was slow, not super slow but slow.

If I'm ignorant why am I putting together a homemade turbo kit for the sohc vtec in my sedan right now?
