Default removing rear bumper

Hi All,

I'm sad to say that my del sol was in a shoot out while sitting in the garage. It's now got a bullet in the rear bumper.

I've tried to get the rear bumper off to locate the bullet (evidence) and make sure that nothing mechanical has been damaged but I am unable to remove the piece that the licence plate connects to. I can see two bolts on the inside but they have round nuts on them and on the outside I can't find anything to turn.

Anyone have experience removing the rear bumper before. Please email me at bumblebee1210@hotmail.com

It's a 93 and rusted so I don't want to make an insurance claim and see my insurance go up.

Thanks in advance,

Geez, where do you live

Well you don't have to take the license plate thingy off to take off the bumper. I'm not exactly sure how anyways.

You just have to grab those round nuts with a pair of pliers, and take em off. Then, take out the tail lights, all the screws that hold the bumper to it's bracket, the screws in the wheels wells, and I think there's one or two bolts under the bumper...
