No offense, but this is not the way to find out what you will be paying. Call up the insurance company, tell em that you'll be getting your license soon, and you want to know how much to expect to pay if you bought a certain car. They'll gladly help you out.

Depending on location, urban or rural, year of the car, if it's concidered a sports car by your insurance, etc, etc, etc.

Don't speculate, just find out.

Yea, I was just trying to get a general idea of how much insurance would cost. I am talking to my Mom into it more and more by the minute... >: ) Her insurance goes up the minute I am of age to drive. So, there is a point in getting one. And if I by it from a guy selling it on the internet I won't have payments (i think) Just car insurance. But, I have been looking at a 97 Del Sol with a VTEC engine. I don't know alot about cars, but I know some.

Well, I knew that insurance might be quite a bit, because it's a sports car, but (as I stated above) I just wanted to try and get a general idea.

I talked to the dealership. They take cash up front. I am probably going to get that one, if they don't sell it.

Hope they dont. If they do example: :jlammy: - this will happen

exactamento. My 160hp 92 Integra GSR wasn't a sports car, but my 125hp 94 Del Sol is??? Go figure. How any car that weighs as much as a sol with 105 or 125 horsepower (the lesser two options) be considered a sports car.... ?

I know the rates on a 2-seater 300ZX are higher than a similarly equipped 2+2.

hahaha they called mine a civic, so that's the rate I pay

"It's a 95 Del Sol"
"oh so it's a Civic"
"...yeah it's a Civic"

Well, anyways. I got my Sol because it looks nice, is reliable, takes regular gas, gets awesome gas milage, and is the envy of all of my friends. Unless you just HAVE to have that b16, I'd consider an Si.

I hope you don't turn out as one of those street tards. I'm happy to see them wreck their cars.
