For 98 Civic Ex coupe

Are ball-joints something I can do myself?

When replacing belts, how important is it to get the tension strength to factory specs and how do I do that?

Need to replace Pads and Rotors, Do I need to bleed the brakes?

Looking into getting an exhaust, thinking about either Apex-i WS c-b, custom Apex-i N1, Borla c-b or factory muffler off another Honda/acura with bigger piping. Ideas and thoughts please.

As long as you do not kink the hoses you should be fine. It is always good practice to bleed the brakes anyway.

Hey guys im new to the boards... I used to be a big 3geez.com forum member but I had to say goodbye to my 3rd generation accord =/.

Anyway is this the right place to ask for an appraisle? If its not please just move me mods.

Well I drive a 92 Civic LX sedan right now, its auto 155,000 miles on it. I'm selling it so I can buy a 91 integra 5spd.

The civic has flaws, and they are:

-Some rust
-Alignment somewhat messed, to the right but still a safe drive
-Minor Hail damage
-Front left fender has a dent, with some chipped paint

Overall the cars clean, everything works, ac what-not. The KBB appraised it at a little over 2g, what do you guys think? Need more information? All input is appriciated, im located in Minnesota.

Edmunds.com is much more accurate for real world prices.

but for the damage to the car, that seems about right. get the alignment fixed, that'll help with a real world buyer.

Here's a simple question, where would one go to get a dyno test in the norcal area? I know you guys aren't a phone book, but I'm sure someone in the area's been tested. Looking to get a before and after before the install of the boost upgrade, camshaft, and valve springs (retainers too). Thanks in advance

Believe it or not some of them are in the phone book.

Look under Automotive Racing Shops or Racing Parts.

Doing a mini-me swap on my d15b7 to a d16z6. I've been asking around where I work (a Honda Dealership) if I can use the same distributor from the b7 to the z6 and most of the replies I got are that they are unsure. I asked at parts department and the computer shows that the two distributors have separate part numbers. I have everything else on the list including the intake manifold and timing belt which I believe is supposed to be a VX belt. Any other suggestions appreciated.
