I use mobil 1 syn and OEM Honda oil filter. I change every 10K and rev the living daylights out of my B16A2 everytime I drive. I wouldn't even consider any other oil.

Why wouldn't you use synthetic if you're burning oil??? price???

correct me if I'm wrong but with amsoil aren't you supposed to change the filter half way through?
As with any oil you have to change the OIL FILTER at regular intervals like 3000-4000 miles.

i have a Question about Duralube, ProLong and all those other Aftermarket oil additives

Are they as good as AmZoil? they swear up and down that they are the best, and that they make the break down of oil less and last longer.

any Experience with them???

They are all crap and gunk up your engine. The only product that I had sucess with is the Engine Restore which you pour in your car to relube the seals in the engine and make compression better.

Mobil 1 should be slightly cheaper than Amsoil. I if I remember right i paid $25-30 for my Amsoil and $20 for the same amount of Mobil 1.

But actually I have 3 free cases of Mobil 1 and 5 free cases of Valvoline "Not Street legal" oil in my garage right now

I was raeding post of how you guys are changing oil at 10k 30k and like that. Though the oilis good you should always change your oiol every 3k at least. The oil lose it thikness I cant remember the technical term but the oil does not last that long.. I bet if you called AMS or redline they would recomend changing the oil at least every 3k. Fresh oil is always the best
