Default head gasket

so, ya, I asked this question a long time ago and wanted to get another set of opinions cause I'm about to do it.

I'm going turbo in the next week and I'm going to be taking the head off just to check everything out before I throw boost on. I'll be replacing the head gasket at that time and wanted to get some REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE opinions on which head gasket I should get. I don't want any "well, I heard that you can spend $500 on some head gasket that God himself forged, but I don't know if it does any good". I need some ideas on what to get.

Last time I posted this OEM was the answer. Is that what I should run? I don't want to raise/lower compression with the gasket, just seal up the head to the block.

Thanks in advance.

Copper gaskets are known to leak.

Seriously, since you don't want to raise or lower compression; use an OEM gasket. I hope you have ARP head studs though.

you could get your head o ringed (i think that's the proper term)

they make an indentation in your head and block, and put a o ring gasket in place of the headgasket. my friend put a copper headgakset and blew that, but that was after he blew the stock headgasket.

you may wanna check on that...
