Default AAARRGGGHH!!!! :( MY WHEELS

Brought 2 of my wheels to the shop to get them straightened (slightly bent on the inside lip) and they call me up and say they cant fix one of them cause it has a crack in it. Now I'm gonna have to spend more money to fix it. He says if I fix it , it'll just delay the crack from getting bigger and that there are signs of stress marks elsewhere.

Has this ever happened to anyone? Know of any places in the bay that charge a decent amount?

I dont know what to do. I could either sell it to someone who really wants them or spend money to fix it.

What kind of wheels are they? If they aren't too expensive, sometimes it is cheaper to replace rather than fix them.

OOppss , I forgot!

They are SSR GPO Evolutions in 17x7 discontinued.

I was thinking of trying to call around and see if they have spare parts still available for the wheel but I'm pretty sure thats gonna cost a pretty penny.

Ouch that's a hard wheel to find sorry to hear man.

If you want to switch to rota's, you know who to call...

I was just thinking about that.

Just e-mailed a guy from awhile back who wanted to buy my extra center caps. I asked him if he was intrested in buying my wheels maybe for spare parts or something.

We'll see what he says. X-ing my fingers.

Try this place if you're still considering getting a replacement.
