i did all the "engine work" about a year ago and kinda got tired of hookin up car and paying for it. right now i'm just doin cosmetics to make it look better than before so i can sell it by this coming spring:thumbup:. Its not the best looking car for dam sure.h:

well since you asked.. it is a PERFECT example of "ghetto-rigging" ghetto rigging to me is defined as halfassness.. unpainted body kits ON cars, crappy aftermarket lighting, mismatched non fitting parts... etc..

ghetto would NOT be: realizing that these did not fit and doing something about it (sending them back, customizing something, getting the RIGHT part)

ghetto WOULD be: just leaving it after you KNOW it does not fit, and just saying "oh yeah im going to bring it to a body shop to get it done" well i think that is a full of shit excuse.. you already said the whole reason you bought these is because they were cheaper...im so sure you could find a used set pretty cheap in good condition.. so if these were even cheaper and you then i DOUBT you can afford CUSTOM body work....

that is how it is ghetto...

think so? go mount a couple blue lights on your roof. you aren't replacing stock lighting...but i guarantee it isn't legal. :fawk:

visible from front of car:
headlights: solid white
parking lights: solid yellow
blinkers: flashing yellow

visible from side of car:
from front to side mirrors = solid/flashing yellow
from doors back to tail = solid red

visible from back of car:
reverse: solid white
parking lights: solid red
blinkers: flashing red/yellow

underbody has different laws...but in general as long as you can't see the actual light producing device (filament, led, neon, etc) you should be ok.
