Default Powersteering question

I hear its not good for the racket pinion to remove the power steering pump, etc. Anyhow, I'm getting used to my car without powersteering and just figured I'd leave the shit out. I took the hose off from the bottome of the car but still have the hose connected that comes from the bottom of the motor to the resovoir tank. Just no tank to connect it to.

My question is someone told me to loop the line. Anyone ever here of this? That way i keeps the fluid in there...

BTW... this is Slacker

i think you're supposed to leave fuild in the rack and loop a hose from the in to the out on the rack so it stays "wet"

When u say "rack" do you mean the fluid tank or hooters:chuckles: Ok done with my immature moment.... But I suppose you could just plug the end the comes out of the fluid tank with some sort of cork?

i would do it on the rack so you could pull out all the hoses, tank, and pump (so you dont have any left over junk)
