thanks for all the help.. im about to do this same thing..

well believe it or not,..the weight of the gauges actually hold it there pretty good,..when i did the test fit,...i didnt have time to mount it and i had to go pick up my girlfriend at the airport,..so i put them in and drove off,...never came out or anything,...if you need anymore help let me know,..what kinda material are you using??? if ABS ,..i suggest you use a jigsaw to cut it

im more a metal guy.. ill probably use aluminum...where you able to squeeze 2 and 5/8th in there or are they the smaller ones 2 1/16th

aluminum will look clean,..i just used ABS plasitc because aluminum would stand out in my semi dark interior,...my gauges are 2 1/16th

yea im almost positive you can,...i had alot of room to spare
