Default b16 swap ?

hey im finishing up my swap and im puting in the axels at the moment and im having trouble with the driverside i keep getting a solid axel and i have seen somewhere on the net that there is a half shaft that is seperate from the axle im wondering if anyof you have done the swap it this half shaft/ axel combo is what i need cuz i cant seem to find a solid axel that fits right any input would be greatly appreciated thanks

Which axle/intermediate shaft combo are you trying to use?

i tried buying a axel from a 99 si but it dosent fit so i dont know if it is a wrong part or what but i found these on ebay

What gen B16A do you have and what year car are you putting it into? the ones that came with it should fit if your putting it into a 5th gen which I'm assuming you are.

B series swaps require the use of a half shaft on the driver's side.

its a first gen b16a into a 93 coupe i think it needs the half shaft, will that ebay one work? also what should i ask for when im ordering the dr. side axel, like what car is it from?

*no axels came with the swap

any b series axles will work, but if you're worried, just get the B16A axles & half shaft. :dunno:

It's pretty straight forward man.

I used 95 gsr axels and intermediate shaft for my b16a into a 95 civic...they fit perfect and you know they are the right shaft with intermediate combination because they have a unique setup as opposed to all the other axles
