I think most people are just confused as to why you want CF fenders given that you just got the car. You might want to get other weight saving items first. Such as hood, wheels, brakes, bodykit. The weight saved by CF fenders is minor compared to those, and you have many more choices with those items. I wouldn't trust many of the CF fenders made out there by sketchy manufacturers.

mitchell's got a point... you can do what you want man, it IS your car.

The consensus, obviously, is that too much CF is overkill, but you're the one spending the money.

Also, be careful with which hood you get and if you plan to swap. I had a hood similar to the one pictured above and I had to get rid of it because of my B18C1 swap; the vent hit the valve cover so I went with a TC Sportline/Spoiler OEM cf hood. It fits GREAT! and looks stock. It also has a really thin skeleton so that helps with the turbo I'm about to put on (tall wastegate).

hih

Oh, I'm not critisizing, I just can't believe you would go with the GSR wheels if you can afford to get the spoons. As for CF fenders, go for it, personally I think it shows originality since I have yet to see a street car with them. What color is your car? And opinions are just opinions so don't take it personally. Different strokes for different folks. I know a guy that has a 97' Prelude show car that's black with black spoon rims, CF hood, CF fenders, CF flush mount spoiler, CF lip, and CF dash trim. The car is very awesome but it's just a show queen, he does not drive it.

I've seen 2 cars (one VW GTI and a BMW) that had full cf bodies. They were pretty cool looking. If you had a black car and cf fenders, that'd look ok, but if you had a white car... I dunno...

Yeah, only on black would it look good. I've seen that Bimmer, it's tight. When I get my CF hood I am having it painted the same color as my car.

The car is black and the current driver's fender is kinda jacked. The previous owner hit something so there is a fat dent. Read the first post, it says that I want to get CF Hood, fenders, stock spoiler and trunk lid. Originally I wanted to stick w/Honda wheels, but saw the Spoon wheels and they look pretty tight too. So I guess I'm just still in the mode of convincing myself to go Spoon instead of Honda. All of this talk doesn't mean that I'm gonna get the fenders before the hood (but they will probably come right after because of the dents). Thanks y'all.
