Spoon CF lip is not much better than any other brand CF... trust me I know that for a fact...

I've seen $1300 CF lips for other cars break as well.

I don't think that our fenders really weigh all that much. I would think you would not get much an a weight decrease from CF fenders. I would put the money you would spend on those towards some light wheels. While getting rid of any weight is good getting rid of unsprung(wheels, brakes, suspension bits) is even better.

Don't worry, I have a plan. I'm getting either Spoon wheels or GSR wheels in about two weeks. As for the suspension, I've got a plan for that too, but I need to collect the parts first. I just got my car about 6 weeks ago! I'm gonna convert to PS and rear disc brakes. Spoon progressive springs, Energy bushings and Bilstein shocks. Eventually I'll get to the sway bar and strut bars, but as I said, I just got my car about 6 weeks ago.
PS. Losing corner weight is good.

I'm aware of the price tag on Spoon equipment. I'll worry about it though. Everybody has their preferences. I'm just looking for some input.

i agree, i took my fender off once, had a dent in it, wasnt that heavy, CF fender probably take off a few ounces. not worth the price to save a few ounces
