I am content with my D16Z6. At least until I swap----one day. But until then feel the power on the SOHC-D-VTEC

"How does it feel to see me in your rear view mirror.?!"

I'm keeping my d series in my car. With how California is increasing the smog laws it's harder to get a legal swap. Unless my current motor throws a rod I'll stick with the d.

yup, i totally agree with ya... i have my eyes set on this engine spec:

JDM EK9 Honda Civic Type-R

- Model: B16B
- 1.6L DOHC VTEC
- 185 hp @ 8200 rpm
- 5-speed manual tranny
- Less than 25000 miles
- Includes ECU and Harness
- LSD differential included
- Best flowing B-series head

but for $4 grand...

but that's later on like you said... except, i'll be buying a hatch and putting that engine in and run N/A.

We threw a d16z6 in there this spring. His little car with a 13lb flywheel is pretty quick. Not fast by any means, but it hangs.

Myself: d16z6 in one sol, and working on a turbo on my other d16 hybrid sol

b16b is a destroked b18........too much money for almost fully built motor. better of with b18c for less money and more potential.

I got a 98 EX with the D16 and plan on keeping it:thumbup: its only got 34k on the engine which is barely broken it. I going to (hopefully, eventually) build it up and turbo it

smooth move, noob.

I think I'll eventually swap a y8+stick in and maybe boost it with a similar setup as jkans, but for now, the y7 is good enough for me.
