Default Car feeling slower

I recently put on some 16" rims with 205/45/16 tires on my Civic. It handles a little better over stock, but now it feels a little slow. FYI, it is an auto. It feels like it is working harder and not as fast when moving from a full stop? Is that normal or is it just in my head? What can I do to give it more power? Suggestions?
Thanks guys/ girls.

they look heavier than stock rims although looks can be decieving... i would asume it is slower..

to make it not slower (not to state the obvious) but you can

a: make more power
b: get lighter rims...

It's probably due to the fact that you have more rotating weight (in the wheels) now.

I had the same problem

you could try resetting your ecu, but I doubt that'll do anything, really.

everything else has been addressed

Scotty.....too funny!!! I agree with Max Boost. It's now working with a larger turning radius. Do you have any engine mods?

Prolly cause its SOHC and you now realized that it has less potential that you imagined :chuckles:...j/k....bigger the rims the more the engine has to work.
