Default PCV 1996 civic

Ok, I know topics about PCV valves have been posted before, and trust me I read all of them and still cant come to a good resolution.

I believe I have found the PCV valve on my 1996 civic EX (D16Y8). There is a hole that goes down under the intake manifold, right in the center behind the valve cover. A hose runs through, and right underneath is the valve, i think.

But anyway, I can hardly reach my arm under the intake manifold and around some tight places to touch the valve, I have no idea how i am supposed to loosen the clamp and remove it.

Anyone have an easy way of doing this??

not too much, you cant really see where the valve goes...

I circled the hole that the hose runs through to get down to the PCV

you have to attach the file types that are listed to view them. BMP isn't one of them.

if it's on top, why can't you get to it?

I don't have your motor so I'm shooting in the dark here.

its not on top. that thing i circled is a hole, and the hose goes through this little tiny hole to the PCV valve that is located under the intake manifold. its a pain in the ass to get to.

well i have done it and its alot easier if you have a lift, you will have to take off your oil filter so you might as well change your oil too. after you get the oil filter off it will be right in front of you.
