Maybe his trunk light is burned out. For a while, my trunk light didn't light up, but then it started working again and so did my trunk open indicator light. :dunno:

It makes sense for those two to be on the same circuit.

I thought about removing the trunk lid and all the interior pieces :chuckles: This is when I was moving stuff into the appartment :rofl:

defective trunk latch switch...triggers trunk light & trunk open warning light. probably seized up from dirt or corrosion...then a nice slam of the trunk loosened it up again one day. or maybe a nice rear ending, or a botched parallel parking incident...whatever happened, it worked

It all happened about the time I got rear ended. I can't remember exactly when it started working again.
