Default ok its time....

ok its time for me to order my motor...i was wondering what motor to get in my 92 civic hatchback...

btw if worst comes to worst i have to drive my car here and there in the winter....yes its ass but hey...

ok here is what i was thinking...

H22a - nice motor and all not very expensive, but handling would suck to damn bad...and in the winter i wouldnt be able to handle it...

B18c5 - looking very close at this one kinda expensive and thats what is making me second think about it...

b18c1 - takes alot to get up to the 13.xx quater mile...spraying is kinda cheap and adding turbo would prolly equal to the same amount as a b18c5??

let me know what you guys think would be the best...im debating and its not going no where..been debating for more than 2 months... help me out... peace

btw i seen a type r motor hatch beat a h22a hatch...both i believe were stock exept for exhaust...beat by 2 car length..;/ thought i share

if you go h22a, you can make it handle decent as long as you do suspension too.

if i had the means, i'd go b18c5.

I'd get the b18c1 or b18c. Slap in some cams, and bolt ons, and it should be pretty quick.

:werd: In a stripped hatch with some good cams and boltons will have it in the 13's.

i also was thinking if i get a gsr motor have it Ported and polished...

ctr is nice if u can get it for good price, but if the pricin for it is around the same for a itr, get the itr, more torque to begin with. a ctr is still a super high compression torqueless wonder motor, the almight b16.
