airbags are killing machines.
the only time i would NOT connect the airbag is if you sit really close to the wheel, typically short women do this, and end up with broken noses.

ouch

it is illegal to not connect your airbag, and if you get in a wreak and its not connected and you get hurt bad, the insurance company can avoid paying your bills and say that it wouldn't have happened if you used your airbag. Always plug it in

that actually did happen, but it was stupid because people dont know how to read the precautions inside the drivers manual. it clearly states to sit as far back as possible but still within reach of the wheel and pedals so that if it does deploy it will cushion you instead of pushing you. the lady was at fault for killing the kid cause the baby was in the front seat right up against the dash in its carseat. the baby was only a couple months old too. people are so dumb cause they risk lives just for their convenience of having the baby next to them instead of in back of them. selfish if you ask me.

the new cars coming out are supposed to have an option of disabling the airbag since its not required by law. if airbags were required any car produced before 1991 would have to be pulled off the streets.

My brother got in a wreck with his Mazda MX-6 and his airbag deployed, it might have saved him from bad injuries.. he just had a red face for a little and some seatbelt burns on his neck... Thanks airbag!

i think what hes talking about is if your steering wheel comes with the airbag you have to connect it. so like if you buy an aftermarket momo that doesnt have one on it its ok.

No, it's illegal to remove an Airbag if your car came with it.

Unless you are 5 ft tall connect it. I've been saved by one before. Obviously you have never been in a serious accident in a car with airbags. As much as I dislike the stock steering wheel, it comes down to function over form.
