is the low pressure the one closer to the header/engine?

how many cans should be sufficient?

2 cans in..left it on max a/c for a good 10mins...still warm

faulty compressor?

sh*t i don't know...but thats my status...still rollin my sh*t down haha

I tell you what.... you dudes that are like "Fawk AC" ya'll are crazy as hell .... I don't know about you... but when i get hot i SWEAT! I hate driving somewhere w/ my 2-65 AC on and peeling my shirt off my back when i get out. Just my 2c.

OH, And that conversion kit works like a champ.... got mine from walmart for 26$

Yeah if you compressor didn't turn on in the 1st can most likely it's gone. You had the cans upside down right?

the only time i wish i still had AC is right at the beginning of summer when it starts to get really hot,..after that i get use to it,..its no thing,...roll the windows down and enjoy the drive

yah..the A/C compressor fan doesn't spin..so theres the culprit

heh..well nick my balls have dropped since i've been behind the wheel =>

...this is my fourth ride w/o A/C...heh, i just wanna break the A/C barrier this month...prolly pick up a condenser later on today

i am a/c certified and the way you would check is look on the compressor and it should say what refrigerant it uses and ui believe that at the year of 93 they started to change over to r-134a so check for your self and yes you can recharge it your self they do sell kits for it just be careful not to leak any into the air becauseit is a 10000 dollar fine and the person that turns you in gets a huge cash award also

thanks man..but for civics they converted to R-134a on 94+ models...i was one year too early hah
