Default engine swapping

I got a 94 Civic Cx. I have $1200 to spend on an engine job, parts and labor. I need a different engine from what i have now. It's a D15B8. What could i do with $1200?

If I were you I would just swap in an Si Engine, it's a D16... something. If you had a little bit more money I would say B16 but you won't touch anything more than parts with $1200.

That's a negative. 92-95 Si Civics came with the D16Z6 (SOHC VTEC).

I was wondering about that. I know that the '96+ is B series, but didn't know about the '95 -

Thanks for the clarification man.

You're selling it or you just bought it for that price?
