what clutch do you have

clutch masters stage 4 and clutch masters 9 lbs flywheel
both = off the hook, and the clutchmasters clutch is easier to engage than my stock one.

IMHO.. peopel are kinda missing the point... just because he does not want GOBS of power.. doesn't mean he should get a stock clutch.. there are other advantages of an aftermarket street strip clutch.. especialy since he is a doing a swap.. he probably intends to at least do bolt ons.. and probably drives semi harshly and maybe races here and there.. a stock clutch can take this type of driving for a while.. but not nearly as long as an aftermarket one BUILT for harsh driving... in the performance world when somethign breaks make it stronger.... and i agree 100% about the flywheel.. i regret not doing mine while the tranny was out.. but anyway.. ANY good STREET STRIP clutch is decent.. you should see a solid split between ACT and clutch masters... i liek them both.. ACT'S customer support won it for me... but it REALY is JUST personal prefrence.. you will notice these 2 key things from a street strip clutch... (no goofy 6 puck race disk) much faster engadgment ( minimal "slip"), and prolonged life..
