mmmm... i consider myself mechanically inclined i reallllyy think i could do it. from what i know, the only hart part really is wiring after the motor is mounted in? and a helm manual could probably help me out on the wiring stuff if it all isn't a "green wire to green wire" type of deal the whole way around.... right??

Easy as hell, didn't have a helms manual and it was still easy. If your knowledgeable about motors, try it.

my motor came with the wiring harness on it so i just hooked up a battery and the shit worked! muahahahaha!

hey sorry to like jump into your thread and ask a question. but i am gettin ready to do a swap myself. my car is a DX and im puttin a B18c1 in there. i took the old engine out myself which wasnt a problem. ive heard the wiring for the vtec and all is complicated? is this true or is it really hard? id like to do it myself if possible to save the money. once again sorry for jumpin into your thread

which manuals would i need? just the 96-98 civic book or would i also need the integra book?

helms manual for the engine that youre putting in and another for the car that you putting it into.
