as for the tweeter, it was an option, not standard (i don't have them) but i'm sure you could probably find one or just get a better one. and the speakers in the doors are 6.5 i think...

i'd also check (or have checked) the transmission, radiator, water pump, and thermostat because those are all things that went out on me.

good buy btw. :goodjob:
Ok, thanx for clearing that up. I thought in the days that vtec was a "newer" thing, they would try to publisize it more on the engine itself. Guess not!

I am goin to change the auto tranny fluid this weekend. It shifts fairly well right now. A little jerky from first to second but other gears are fine. Is that normal?

As for the rest, i'll just let time take its toll on them. I'd like to change the thermostat if i had some extra money layin around cuz that can actually lead to damage cuz of overheating. I will be checking on the timing belt this weekend as well, if thats in new condition, i'll assume the dealer changed the water pump when he did the belt.

And radiator will just leak and thats the end of that, no damage there except the pocketbook.

Thanx for that info!

Update: I did find out where that pcv valve was, its right below and behind where the center of the valve cover is, kinda hard to see. So if anyone is lookin for that, thats where it is.

I also changed the auto tranny fluid wednesday, it now shifts somewhat better. The fluid that came out was black as oil, NASTY! So it looks like it hasnt been changed in a long while.

I think thats all for now,

Dave
