I was on my way to do some fireworks, kinda in a hurry..and then a cop pulls a u turn and gets me for doing 62 in a 45. The cop was all cool since he noticed it was my first ticket and said that he will put me down for doing 54 in a 45 so I wont lose my license or anything. But anyways my question is that he gave me 3 options...pay the $100 ticket, go to court, or pay the $100 ticket and another $40 for a driving course...he said if I take the course then i wont get any points on my license and my insurance wont go up. So if I do that then does that mean the insurance wont see my ticket or anything and it will be like nothing happened. Because in December when I turn 18 my insurance said that they will reduce my monthly payments..will this ticket affect that even if i do that course??

if you get the points taken away the insurance won't see it, and it won't affect your payments at all.

i hate traffic cops they are all jerks around here (that's where they put the lackeys) i've had three one 80 in 45 (construction zone), one 80 in 35 (school zone) and one 55 in a 35 (road behind house almost made it back from best buy) and they were all jerks and none went on my record it's just expensive, talk to the county prosecotor all they care about is money for their county so they will usually hook you up though

 

i have a clear record, i am 18 (and a half ), prolly cause i drive like a 60 yr old in an exotic, gotta show off the car and be cool about it ya know?
