Default switched to 89

wanted to let you guys know i switched to 89 for my civic, it cleared up the pinging noises and i've noticed a good improvement in my cars performance. thanks for the advice, and i'd suggest to others to do it too

I thought it'd be that.

So down grading the octane worked better for you?

yeah, i've been running on regular since i got my car, and i switched to help clear up the pings. it worked great, and my car's running more smoothly now as well i normally wouldn't want to do it since i'm broke, but its definetly worth it, so i'll keep it up

I only use 87.

89 octane is wasting money....
