if ur a baller, shell out $350+ for real HID
if ur semi-baller, pay $80+ for PIAA, raybrig, or razo bulbs
if ur on a budget, get nokya arctic white off ebay for $20, they look good and my friend has had no probs w/ them

Those bulbs were probably 85W not 55W. The stock harnesses are made for 55W bulbs and if you run above that, the harnesses get too hot and end up welding themselves to the headlight and/or the housing. If you want to run over 55W you need to get one of the harnesses that comes with a lot of the projection kits.

You need to make sure to get 55W bulbs unless you get a new harness (upgraded).
thats what i was thinking too

don't buy the pretty blue ones from autozone. you don't want to end out w/both headlights out at once like i did. don't waste your money get the really good ones (suggested above) or just stick w/regular bulbs.

absolutely NO disrespect.. but i think id rather buy "pretty blue bulbs" for $40 from my honda dealer, than from "auto zone"

but i dont have any blue bulbs since "pretty blue lights" equate to sucky driving light, dispite my local law enforcments displeasure ive switched back to my yellow ion hella bulbs, they get a STRONG thumbs up

i have hyper industries h4's. 85w lowbeam, 80w high. no probs after 1 yr. on my accord however, they melted the depo aftermarket plugs. i just went to autozone and picked up replacement plugs and repaired the harness myself
