why? does it matter how big it is? shouldn't you be asking what makes the most torque or horsepower instead?

Has everyone forgotten about the B20 engine? Throw a VTEC head on it and call it good. That'll allow you to keep your ps and ac.

if i got the b18c5 would i have enough ground clearance?i heard the oil pan touches the ground.

It will be fine as long as you don't have a 3" drop or anything. The motor pretty much "bolts" into the 5g civics. You use a few stock civic mounts and a few stock teggy mounts - I forgot which ones.
