My windows are in need of a new tint job, they are in fairly good shape, but looks blurred. I was considderin colored tint, I could get a roll for 15$ and know how to tint windows, just wonderin what yall know of colored tint?

Colored tint is fucking gay man, you're going to get flamed.

If you're going to get tint, have a real shop do it, and just get the normal kind about 40% all around.

The DIY stuff will fade to purple.

 

i thought 30% was max for front 2 windows, and anythin on back sides and back window, but i seen some cars hella dark.

 

Just depends on where you live, laws are different for each state.

 

as far as i know its straight up illegal to have the front two tinted at all...well thats what the cop that got me told me. now i look all ghetto with only the rears tinted, i would take them all off but i heard that taking off the rear tints could sometimes break your rear defrost. anyone heard of this?

 

In Michigan you can't have front tint at all? Gay...

It depends on how your rear tint was installed, some people will cut strips inbetween each line of the defroster. The only way I could see it messing that up is if it was one sheet of tint and your ripped them off somehow.

 

yep. colored tint is :ghey:. in ca, it's illegal to have tint on the front windows. but pretty much everyone has it anyway. and about the rear defroster...alot of people take the tint off by using razor blades (that's how i did it when i got a ticket for having tint in the front), and they just scrape the sticky stuff off, and that would kill the defroster. but if you're really worried, just take it to a shop, i'm sure they would take it off (for a price).

 

Limo tint. Or that catchy camo tint! (a real following here in Alabama)
