I can't win...
So, I just hit a fugging parked car... That's right, I'm retarded! Driving past a friend's house, I see another friend I haven't seen in months (living out of state). So, I stopped, put it in reverse to go back down a little hill. I start to ease on the brakes, the pedal hits the floor and one of the front wheels locks up. The back end swings out, and what do I hit? A 71 Chevelle... I love my fugging life...
If anyone knows of any good sites to find a fender for his car, let me know. I already know a paint guy... Goddam...
Oh, and the brakes are still hanging up, so I have ANOTHER project for tomorrow... Lovely...

ahahahahaha
that sucks!
i am only allowed to laugh because i actually did roughly the same thing myself last summer... except i backed into a fire truck!!
yes, the big, giant, impossible-to-miss red things. while maneuvering around a tight circular driveway, i very lightly tapped my back end against their huge steel bumper, and popped in one of my rear corners.
good thing for me i am a girl... some big smiles and the dumb-girl apology, and i was off the hook for scratching their bumper.

If it makes you feel any better James, last night the timing belt snapped on my Camry. Of course this happened about 1/2 mile north of 494 on 77 (Ceader ave). Cost me $135 to get a tow home. Reman heads thru Checker are like $350, plus I need another $350 in misc parts to get the thing running again.

honestly, it does make me feel better. Sorry to take comfort in your pain. Bad thing is, I don't have the money to pay for the the damage on this guys car. I'll be beyond tapped. We're talking, calling mom and asking to borrow a couple hundred. Damn, I hate doing that. Anyway, if you need help with the timing belt, lemme know. Always willing to help out when I can!
