I was thinking of getting a different tranny for my civic cuz it's auto and just wondering how much it usually costs and if a SI tranny will work on my civic EX?

you can get a tranny for under 500. i called a salvage yard and they said 450. but you can usually find them cheaper. and si tranny's are made for b-series engines, you have a d-series. so, no.
