The heck is up with my car?

Engine Code 73
UPDATE: I checked the ECU, and the code that it's throwing out is 73 (Cylinder 3 misfire or random misfire), but my engine is running fine after two starts...anyone know what can cause this situation? I heard it could be anything from the spark plug, to the wires, to the distributor...HELP!

This morning when I started my car (97 DX), it was shaking pretty bad, and then the check engine light kicked in when the idle returned to normal. What the heck could it be? It's never had this problem before, and I got about 69K miles on it...anyone have any ideas? I had to take the car to work and it would seem that everything was running fine. I even shut down the car and started it again, but I didn't get any repeat...I only have a short ram intake on the car too..

Wow, that was cheaper than I had imagined...I'll look into it...I'm guessing it's the spark plug - I just hope nothing else is causing the problem. I'll reset the ecu afterwards and see if the problem has cleared itself...thanks again for the help man!

for 20 you'll just be replacing the cap and rotor on the dist. Basically a rebuild on it. Anyway, take your cap off and see if the polls are all nastied up. If they are, get a new one for 8 bucks. But like everyone's said, check the plug and wire first.
