Default Supercharger or Turbo

Ok, I have read many things about turbo vs. supercharger, and they all make good points for both sides, and i keep changing my mind on what i want. heres what ive heard...

TURBO
basics... they use exhaust gas to spin the turbine and charge the engine air.
pros
make a lot of power
easily adjustable
easily upgradable
sound of bov
cons
unreliable
costs involved(new pistons/rods etc)
overheating
need for full 3" exhaust
lag

SUPERCHARGER
basics... they are connected directly to the engine and take power to make power
pros
make immediate(low end) power
very reliable
no need for new exhaust
no lag
cons
make less power
less adjustability
low end power spins tires

thats what i have heard, can anyone who runs either tell me about their setup, or recommend the better choice? what will i need for both, and what kind of numbers will these produce. THANKS :joshers:

I would never put a supercharger on a Honda.

Who said superchargers are more reliable than a turbo? That's all hearsay man ... That notion of unreliabilty comes from the turbo's ease of increasing boost.

overheating?! omg ... I'm not even gonna answer that.

the more hardcore you go, the more power you'll get out of a turbo, you dont see drag hondas with superchargers... if you are autocross and need low end then a supercharger would be good.. but i recommend staying as far away as you can from jackson racing, they are shit
