i have the silverstars and they kick butt! i love them! i had the piaa's previously but saw and heard all the positive things about the silverstars so i tried them out and they rock! i got mine at autozone i think and they are like $20 a bulb but well worth it to me! hope this was helpful

i have silverstars... they are the best thing next to HID's in output and color..

According to Sylvania's site the silverstars burn at 4000K and the LOWEST HID bulbs at 4100K but the brightest at 5400K

yeah you would use H4 or 9003. if you really want the blueish go with piaa. they are the best for that look, and the quality is excellent. the only problem is that they are really expensive. i would suggest the silverstars. you get better light output with the yellower bulbs than the blue bulbs, but the silverstars are white and they still give really good output. trust me on this though, when it rains you DO NOT want blueish bulbs. they almost look like they are not even on. you have to also remeber that the civic headlights already give off a weak beam pattern so you probably want to get whatever type of bulb you can that will put out a lot of usable light.
