Default Know any good SOHC turbos?

I'm thinking about getting a turbo for my '00 civic. Does anyone know any good SOHC turbos? Also, I'm stuck w/ an a/t. So I'm thinking about getting the turbo, then getting a tranny swap later. Is that possible? Or do the turbos differ from a/t and a 5 speed?

Thanks for the info. But you said "no". No meaning that its not possible to get a tranny swap if i get a turbo for my car? Or No turbos are not specifically made for a certain transmission? Meaning that if i got the turbo and then switched my tranny to a 5speed, it'll be ok. Please clear this up, thanks.

it will work with your automatic transmission, but don't expect that transmission to be capable of handle higher power figures.

turbos will work on both 5 speed and autos.

SleeperCivicEX has an Apexi kit on his COMPLETELY STOCK '99 Civic EX coupe. He runs a 14 flat with 10 psi (I think).

You should PM him and get some info. I can get Greddy, Apexi and DRAG kits if you want some pricing.

Lemme know.

Ok, so if i get the turbo on my automatic right now, then it'll be fine if i switch the transmission. Thanks for the info. And yes I would like some pricing of some turbo kits. Thanks.

Adding a turbo will not have any bearing on whether you have auto or manual. You will be fine if you decide to go manual later on.

If you want pricing, PM me.
