yeah, check it out thoroughly before taking it. i don't know how much they run for. i was frustrated for waiting so long when i got mine and didn't completely check it out and there's flaws in it and now i can't take it back or anything (shop i went to sucks). so make sure you're happy with it before you take it.

I photochoped one on my car. Its not the best chop but you get the idea. I think it looks good.

That is a good price. And just like the others said, make sure of the quality that you're getting. VIS has some of the best hoods, but when they were first selling CF hoods (they might still have some left) they had some of the thinnest CF hoods (you can practically see right through them). Not trying to make you paranoid for this is a rare case, but I'm saying that it is still possible...

I also have a CF hood from VIS. It was on the car for more than a year w/ no problems (no need for pins). I think I might put it back on after this weeekend...

woohoo I picked it up today and it is flawless. Its got some minor scratches on the underside which I wasn't to worried about but the topside looks great and fits great. I drove an hour with no hood to pick it up. I'll post pics when I find my digicam.

Thanks for everyones help.
