Default im done driving fast... (long sad story)

well thursday night i was leaving work and my friends came over cause they seen me and wanted to look at my new car. so i talked to them for a little while and took them all for a ride. the one kid used to have a civic and sold it but wanted it back after riding it my car. as i was leaving to go meet some more of my friends my they said that this girl was on her way over and she had a turbo FWD talon, that my buddy loved as well. so i left and he left driving the girls car 2 minuets later according to of my buddys that were with him in a seprate car at around 9:55.

the next day i wake up and am watching the news and i see a story about a boy and 2 girls on rt.30 (the main hiway around here) killing all three of them when the car lost control at about 120mph hit the jersey barrier than slid 350 ft sideways off the road into a tree at 10:06 PM. and the car looked like the one he was in, and i was like o shit. i went to school and talked to a few people and found out that it was him.

the girl in the passenger seat was dead on impact, the girl in the back was dead soon after paramedics and everyone arrived, and he was i cardiac arrest, and was lifeflighted to pittsburgh where he died at around 12:30 AM

he used to post on here with the username hybridweapon or something like that

ive spent the entire weekend as well as yesturday at his parents houses, the crash site, and the funeral and am in really bad shape myself at this point.

let this be a lesson, driving fast isnt worth it, cause it could all be over in a matter of a few seconds.

Default What's up?

Sorry to hear it Nick, give my best wishes to his family.

Like I told you when you bought your hybrid, any car, especially a fast one is a very dangerous thing. If you don't respect it and use your head, you can be hurt. Seeya.

exactly what andy said. i guy in my area recently flipped his hybrid. which he had for just 3 weeks.

just because you turn a few bolts and do a couple of mods for handling. it won't make you a race car driver.

my condolences to the deceased families.

Sorry to hear it man, just last week, my brother T-Boned a Jeep in his Neon(yea i know i hate neons im glad it crashed) and totaled both cars, but everyone was fine. The week before that, my friend was going 50 around a sharp corner when it was wet in his Toyota Tundra, fish-tailed a few times, the went through a fence. When he hit the fence, 2 peices of the fence came through and hit the passenger(my other friend) in the leg...he's ok now....just stitches and staples....

I like driving fast, but only when I'm sober, and the conditions are right... But anyway, be carefule, like you said, It can all be over in an instant.

The families and you, of course, will be in my prayers.

I can relate, I was in an accident @ 110, being a passenger. Permanent back injuries own me.
