It's 'time consuming' your first time, but it gets easier as you do it again. I recommend at least another person. My friend did his by himself but he busted his ass doing it
Exedy stock replacements from eBay seem to be fine.

basing this on a b16a2....took me about 4-5hrs (clutch and flywheel) but it was my first time too. word of advice: put it on lift, sooo much easier. Once i got started it was pretty easy but i did have a trusty mechanic by my side

I installed my clutch with the engine out of the car so it was easier but I'll toss in my .02 of info.
IMO, it isn't really super difficult. You'll have to at least undo the passengerside axle but if you're ok with that, removal is cake once you remove all the bolts. Assuming you'll be doing this on jackstands, I think the hardest part will be aligning the tranny when you're putting it back together. Make sure you've got a friend to help you out from above while you're underneath. I've heard putting the tranny on a jack to hold most of the weight helps while aligning.
www.clutchcityonline.com worked for me. Look under "standard clutches". Good luck.

Both axles will have to come out. Think about it ...
If he had access to a lift, then I doubt he'll be asking on here. It's not that bad with jack stands. Have someone under the car holding the tranny to align it. If you think that's dangerous, then you must be weak.
I don't recommend doing it your first time without a manual.

A guy I know did mine in 3hrs. He knew what he was doing. Did most of it himself with air tools. Used two stands and the hydrolic jack to support the tranny. Didnt look too hard, but damn there were a sh!tload of bolts.

Give it up. That D15 and matching transmission owns your ass. Stop buying strut bars and get a new engine and transaxle already:chuckles:
Remember guys, when you say "use a friend"... that guy is me. I would much rather he got squished under the transaxle trying to line it up while I point and laugh then me being the sucker lying face up on the deck bench pressing that oversized chunk of aluminum
