Default sound deadening material???

underneat the seats and trunk carpet, there is like little sections of matt and it is adheared to the metal of the car with like a tar substance... easy way to remove it, without ****ing up the underlying metal too much??

lots of heat, lots of patience, lots to muscles

i would just take a heat gun, soften the glue, then scrap it off with a big flat putty knife.

Why? Weight reduction? I don't think it's worth the effort...
Ask Bumnah he might know since he's got little or no interior in his car.

just to clean up my stripped interior a little.. the matting looks like ass and its already loud as **** sinse the seats and carpet is out... so i just want to completely strtip it out

hoenstly, if you can get it really cold, that works well. Get some dry ice, lay it on there for a few minutes, then take a hammer, and the stuff shout chip out easily.

i have heard the cold method from EVERYONE... and heres my one question... isn't that gonna **** up the metal under it... banging the shit out of it with a hammer?
