I did a compression test last week, and i got
1 120psi
2 140psi
3 140psi
4 140psi

Plans for a valve adjustment and or leak down test are also going to happen to get the 120 up.
There is a local Honda Tech, works at/for Honda, that is selling his Greddy Turbo kit. Used for 9,000miles, All parts, FMIC type 29, and a Type S BOV. He is selling it for 1,700$ and i wanted to hear what you guys think. The goal is to get 200whp, but to start off with, is this a good plan? Since the guy is a Honda Tech, and knows a lot, is there any reason not to trust him. He lives/works near by, and would be able to help me out with the install. So, what do you guys think?

I'd say that sounds fair with the fmic. Does it come with a boost controller or boost gauge too? Turbo timer?

 

Why is he selling it? If he know's his stuff and wants to get rid of it, that sounds fishy to me.

 

Sounds like an awesome deal to me. Look for any shaft play and make sure it spins freely. Get the compression up in #1 and it should be all good. Are bad rings a symptom for low compression :dunno:
