wtf? do i have abs??

Default wtf? do i have abs??

i ran my VIN for a carfax through puffy's thread..
under description it said:

Year/Make/Model: 1995 HONDA CIVIC EX

Body Style: COUPE
Engine: 1.6L L4 MULTIPOINT FI
Fuel: GASOLINE
Driveline: FRONT WHEEL DRIVE
Manufactured in: UNITED STATES
Safety Equipment: 4 wheel ABS, Dual front air bags/active (manual) belts

Standard Equipment: Power Windows, Power Steering, Air Conditioning Optional, AM / FM Cassette, Power Brakes, Power sun / moon roof, Tilt Wheel


does that mean i have abs?? i swear i dont cause i'm pretty sure i've locked my wheels.. yea definately have on ice before.. hmm..

A little "ABS" light should come on when you turn your key..

I don't have ABS

thats what im thinkin.. maybe carfax jussed goofed... :dunno:

Guess so.. stuff like this is kinda eh... typical.

Like when I got my CEL code from a computer it pulled up my VIN as a hatchback LOL... but yeah on CarFax it IS a sedan haha.. I wouldn't worry about it. Probably just a little mistake.

I thought all 1995 Civic Exs came with ABS. Do you have front and rear discs? Also locking up on ice would be normal anyway. No traction on 0 coeffecient surface

abs prevents lockup.. and its only front discs..i know that abs comes with the 4 discs.. carfax juss made a mistake.. feel free to lock this thread lol

try locking it up again on an empty parking lot.

if you have stock tires it shouldn't be that hard. from about 20mph should do it.

you have a 95 ex with rear drums???? wtf? it should be all disc and have abs... I thought that was standard no the ex in 95...

im a little weary on carfax lately, my civic was in a $4000 accident over a year ago, and it isnt on there. and more recent stuff is (inspections and stuff). i ran the carfax like 2 weeks ago.
