Ahh, I remember seeing them on GBC for something like $850. Then again that was GBC and if those were special prices, I might have been thrown off.
And yeah, I've got to say, Tein is cool and all but for me personally, if I can get a reputable set up that's got more features for less money, I'm all for it.

I've seen the exact same Group Buy. So if they decided to do a groupbuy on the newer/cheaper coilover, how much would you think they'd sell it for? 600?

My experience is actually pretty limited with Tein products though. I've only driven and tossed around a DA with EF HA suspension for a short while but I thought that it was decent and actually pretty comfortable. Then again, it's not a civic so that doesn't really help.
Maxboost, what did you end up going with?

I was deciding between the H&R Coil Over kit... from what I have experienced in other cars, the ride is very nice.
The first choice would have been the TEIN SS, which I could have gotten for around $850, however, when it came down to it, I didn't feel that I need a full coilover system... those Skunk2/Ground Control 'coil-over' system's didn't seem to be worth it either. The price isn't really the issue, but it's more function over features. Whereas I don't autocross my car nor track it every so often. I also can use that money to spend on other things...
For the time being, I am going to upgrade my shocks with KYB's with my current H&R setup. Should I change my mind (which I do often) you will see me post my old setup for sale

Funny thing is that I think Tokico has their own brand of coilovers that offer adjustable dampening and they sell theirs for 899.
