Default Your Opinoins PLEASE

ok, im 16, and Ive been able to save up $5000. But I want to get this 1995 Honda Civic right. The car is being sold for 4000, But it has 100,000 miles on it. The guy installed intake, and exhaust. Theres no kit on it, but I want to do more stuff to it, like add a kit, do you think its a good idea?

I say if the body is in good shape then 100k for $4000 is a reasonable price. Most of them are going at around $3000+ with more miles than that, and the infamous rust on the rear quarter panel.

The condition of the exterior is great, no scratches or anything, he even put 15inch rims, looks pretty sweet, i convinced him to go to 3000 too, so you dont think 100,000 is to much? my parents are saying its way to many, but i heard hondas last forever, but they dont believe me

That is a great price, tell me where it is and I'll go buy it. Sh*t if your engine does go in another 100k, I hear....Swwaapp!

Shiiiit. I bought a '92 LX sedan for $100 and it only had a blown head gasket. I say get a '92 (or so) hatch with a blown motor and good body/interior and spend the extra $$ you've got on a slammin' motor! That's what I would do.

sounds like a good deal but take a good like at the seller. He's put a few mods on the car so you know he's into cars. Most people who mod their cars like to drive a little ruff... see what I'm saying? Pay close attention to clutch life and other things that get worn down from quick acceleration. But still $3000 aint bad.
