im running a b16a with w/ a stock p28 and the 7200rpm redline sucks what chips do u guys run? where did u get them from? what kinda mods are u running too? thx

Iv'e got a buddy thathas a stock p72 sitting in his bedroom if you're interested! That would run a lot better!

 

why are you running a p28 if its not chipped for a dual cam?

I have a p28 chipped with the DOHC Mugen program. It runs too rich, no rev limiter. It screams in VTEC, but for daily driving it sucks.

How are you running a stock p28 with your setup? I tried running a p28 in my car (to get it smogged) and I got a CEL and black smoke coming out the tailpipe.

 

i got the p28 for $80, and it only costs about $50 to chip (incl labor). i didnt want to spend $200+ for a p72 or p30. btw, my car runs pretty well as it is, tho im sure the fuel maps are far from optimized.

does anyone have experience with the different "programs" out there? ie skunk2, jun, mugen, feels, etc
