Ok. My old front bumper was sorta.. off. It went under the hood where it met the headlights and leaned down and to the right. It was not flush with the fenders at all. Well i thought the bumper was just messed up.. there was no damage on it. So i ordered a new OEM front bumper and I got it the other day. Well it came time to install the bumper and as I took off the old one.. I noticed something wrong.
There is a nice metal..crack or ..fatigue sign or whatever you want to call it in the dead center of the bar that the radiator and A/C sat on. I always noticed that my A/C leaned alot to the right but I never knew exactly why, I was missing a bracket and i figured that was the case. But anyway. The entire bar is bent down and to the right on half of it and the other half sits straight and it looks like the support where the 5 bolts for the front bumper go is bent in and down very slightly also. I guess someone got in a wreck in the car but, before I bought the car I had it carfaxed and it showed up clean with no wrecks or anything. I have some old pics where you can see it is sort of off but its not TOO noticeable.
Now when I tried to put the new bumper on, the left side bolted up fine... but the right side? Well it was hanging off the car and I couldnt get it to fit because the front end is so off and it wont reach the bolts. And I guarantee if i somehow Made it fit the bolts the bumper would bend very badly. So what am I gonna do? I don't think I can order a new whole front piece. its part of the frame isnt it? Can a body shop bend it and adjust back to its original position? how much would that cost?
another bad thing is that I broke the fender clip for the front bumper and now I can't put it back on So I have no front bumper now.
anyway..suggestions welcome. This is pissing me off

You can see the a/c leaning here... sorta..
I guess this will give you an idea of how it looked. I dont have a fender shot of the bumper on like this though.
i'll take a pic with the bumper off soon

Damn, You're uptight. Another thing that's very annoying is people posting off topic in people threads to voice their concerns about minute errors, when in reality no one gives a ****, and I have to end up replying to it, so here we go.
