Another Exhaust Question

The new exhaust set up I'm looking at for my B16A consists of 2.5" piping, however the muffler I'm looking at is only has a 2.25" inlet.

How will this affectmy gains and performance?

Cool. Also what will it sound like running no resonator with that engine?

To a 'normal' person, an exhaust system without a resonator is loud on any engine

i have 2.25 from my cat to my muffler.... its pretty damn loud, but not unbearable. just pray that u never have to drive by a cop. i would say my car is around 110db at full throttle, with the silencer out.
