I would do a honda, they are trained to do it correctly the first time and you know it's done right and the parts are going to last.
well when i called was only inquiring about a new timing belt.. and the guy said he doesnt do just the belt cause peeps put on a new belt and then the pump goes and so does the new belt, so he wont do just the belt.. he does the whole package (serpentine belt (tracer) or something like that also, all the belts) for 350.. and its a honda only shop which imo would be just as a good as a dealer when it comes to specialization.. oh and he does use oem parts...

just called him.. his price went up to 380 (last i talked to him was about 4 mos ago) and he was pretty strict about using oem parts... that also includes a new valve head gasket.. and for 60 more he'd adjust my valves..

ps the other drive belts honda parts out, meaning honda doesnt make em.. he uses goodyear which he says are the best on the market... (so does 3 other shops i called to get quotes on)

Sounds like a good deal then, I say go for it. You won't find anyone cheaper IMO. I'm going to try to do it myself this time.
